The Green Team along with Dave, Bruce, Dixie and others is working hard on Phase 1 of the Eco-sanctuary and the Joan Henderson Memorial Gardens to bring this project to completion. Peek outside in back through the Narthex next time you come to the church. A dedication is being planned for this spring and we need help with that, too.
Bridges Montessori school next door is sharing ideas with us. Their kids want to help us with plants and plant labels. You may see them with teacher Amy Friedrichs and our Karen Frank exploring the property together.
Regina is working on plant labels and the kids may have a hand in that. Our landscaper will soon install a brick path from the patio to the pergola through the arbor.
A plaque will be installed on the patio to honor Joan Henderson who’s family donated the money for these gardens.
